            Veteran's Poker Run
   Starts at the Volvo Union Hall in                Dublin,  to Salem Veteran's Hospital
This was a joint mission with the CMA 
BFCNRV member Tony Nixon saying the Road Prayer at the Volvo Union Hall .At the Veteran's Hospital we had a ceremony and a pizzia lunch to show our Vets we care and appreciate their service in the Arm ForcesThis the the same Mack Truck from the Volvo-Mack Truck Plant that went to Rolling Thunder with us. The Vets enjoy seeing it at the Hospital

Sept.26th  We set up camp at the River of Life Church. The forcast was calling for rain, however if the Post Office doesn't stop due to weather, when we won't either.  We started our Apple Butter making at 4:00 AM Saturday morning, after 12 hours of cooking and stirring we started canning the 28 gallons we made.

Eddie, Vera, Frank, Cindy and Max camped out Friday nightAfter of hours of hard work, Tony is cutting some logsMax's brother and his wife , who are local CMA members stop by to help can the Apple Butter. Skylar Sain is a 4 year old child with cancer. She is in need of a liver                       transplant and also has tumors on her lungs.

            Col. Ripley died in his sleep just days before the parade
                                Col. Ripley's son stood in for his dad
    There is a Monument in Bissett Park in Radford honoring Col. Ripley
Attending was Tony Nixon, Johnny Edwards and Tolley Hurst of BFCNRV
Tony , Johnny and Tolley of BFCNRV who are also Patriot Guard Riders rode in the parade and attended the service in Bissett Park honoring Col. Ripley
Nov. 24th.  BFCNRV member Hobart Christian playing               at Dublin, Hardee's with his group called                                         "Closer to Heaven"  
    The name comes from the fact they are in their 60's & 70's.
Jr. Cox  in the local CMA, and Hobart Christian a BFC member tuning up to play for a packed house at Hardee's in Dublin.Pastor Mike, Ricky & Toby Riggins, Frank & Cindy Talyor, Max Orren and Eddie & Vera also attending this singing, and to show support for our Brother HobartHobart playing the lead on this song

      2nd. Annual Toy Run for Pulaski County Christmas Store

pics are from the gearing up for the Toy Run, Pulaski & Dublin Parades,  the delivery of the toys to the Pulaski County Christmas store.

From dealing with the cold temperatures at both parades, blowing snow on the Toy Run, unloading the toys to the songs  "Christmas With the Chipmunks" everyone was truly blessed to be apart of giving a child a gift for Christmas and we can't wait to do it again next year.
Special Thanks to the Snowville Baptist Church for their donation of a half of a pickup truck load of toys . They already have 6 Christmas programs and just as last year, their donations are above and beyond

The Lord Blessed our Chapter with 2 families with a total of 8 kids to share Christmas with this year.. Special thanks to the River of Life and to Stephanie Carpenter & Anna Slate at Xaloy  who collected money, purchase and wrapped gifts for the families and to all the Xaloy employees, River of Life members and BFCNRV members for their donations.
WIth a very large collection of gifts and food from BFC members, the River of LIfe and Xaloy employees, we gather at the River of Life to load up to go share Chrsitmas, and the Love of Jesus ChristSpecial Thanks to Stephanie Carpenter, Human Resources Administrator at Xaloy and to all of the employeesSpecial Thanks to Don McCraw. We load his truck up for the first stopDon McCraw's daughter finish packing the TruckReady to pull out , with Frankie Poole giving the signalOur First Stop. Don is backing into the drivewayThsi is Aiden with Santa, He is only 1 year old, and has already lost a kidney and now has lung cancer and will start 25 weeks of chemo next week. Please keep him in your prayers and on your Prayer List.We watch as the other 4 children get to open a few of their presents,  saving the others for Christmas morning. Special Thanks to Jimmy Hinkley Jr. for playing Santa, and for Josh for being an Elf.Santa had his SUV load down for our second stopSame as the first stop, the kids got to open a few of their presents, and saving all the other ones for Christmas morning.
