Aiden went for his regular pet scans and checkup last week and on Wednesday the y called Shannon with very bad news. They had found a l esion in his groin  and they are almost positive its cancer again. He has what they call the Wilms Tumor. They have scheduled his biopsy on March 31st in RMH. If this is cancer again, they have already told the family there is nothing more that they can do for him. There may be some expermental treatmenst if they want to put him throught that. For now we will wait for the 31st..

PLEASE PUT AIDEN IN YOUR PRAYERS, GOD HAS HEALED HIM TWICE AND HE WILL AGAIN!  AMEN!!

On 4-14-10  They operated on Aiden at  Roanoke Hospital to remove a tumor they had found in his groin.  When they opened him up to remove the tumor, they found he was full of cancer and several inches of his intestines had already died from the cancer. The doctors have told  Shannon and James that Aiden has 2 weeks to 2 months to live. The cancer has spread all over his body and  there is nothing else they can do.  Hospice will be coming home with him and The Make a Wish Foundation has been notifyed and they have put him on the emergency list. They have asked for a playground for their backyard for Aiden to play in, thats what makes him happy and he loves to be outside.

Aiden Update 4-16-10          Aiden was moved out of ICU today into a regular child's room. Room # 1157 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Aiden was discharged from the Hospital Sunday 4-18-10                                     and is home now.

4-22-10    Make a Wish Foundation gave Aiden this big swing-set today. Aiden loves it

4-24-10  Aiden's Grandpa came by with a Bobcat and is spreading the mulch around the swing-set
Aiden got a tent and is planning on camping out next to his new swing set, needless to say, Faith Ryders members will be camping with him just as soon as the weather will permit it. Aiden loves playing with Dana. When we pulled up on our bikes, Aiden started yelling, Dana!! Dana !! DANA!!!

May 16                               Aiden at Krogers picking on Mike Dickerson who works there, as his Mom carts him around in the buggy as she picks up a few groceries.

May 24                           Aiden has took a turn for the worst. He is swelling in his belly. Doctors say it is the tumor growing. It came on very fast last Friday and Saturday. Aiden is hurting in his belly area now. Today during our visit  Aiden was asleep, and was woke and crying from his belly hurting.
It is so hard to see and hear the pain Aiden is in. Hospice will now step up his pain management program.
Aiden cannot handle setting in his car seat, due to the size of the tumor.

I do not have any answers to the questions of why chrildren suffer with illness, such as cancer.

All I do know is God is our Father, and we must trust in Him. We must keep the Faith, because God knows best. Even if we don't understand it right now.

Aiden went to be with Jesus at 12:30 am on June 1st, 2010.
